Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the above-mentioned position reporting to the General Manager Corporate and Business Banking and based at our Nadi Office.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop effective business plans and budgets to grow the lending and deposit portfolios in order to achieve the bank’s growth targets.
2. Ensure that all lending applications are processed to the highest standard including providing the necessary credit writing training to managers where required.
3. Oversee staff training & development in the business unit in consultation with the People & CultureTraining team to ensure that staff deliver the highest standards of service.
4. Identify prospective target business and assist the team in dev eloping new business portfolios through networking.
5. Ensure a good quality loan portfolio is maintained, full compliance with policy and effective governance at all times.
6. Ensure that any customer complaints are resolved in a professional and timely manner to ensure high customer satisfaction at all times.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

• University Degree preferably in Economics, Commerce or Accounting.
• Minimum of 10 years of Management and Lending experience in a Local and/or International Bank.
• Detailed understanding of Treasury, Financial Markets and Market Risks.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Customer Relationship Management skills.
• Excellent Time Management and Negotiation skills.
• Knowledge in Compliance and our local Legislation
